How to convert AUD to EUR
Turning Australian Dollars into Euros needs nothing more than today's rate and a multiplication. On 21 September 2026 that rate is 0.620869, so:
EUR = AUD × 0.620869
Reverse the direction and you divide rather than multiply. Equivalently, one Euro is worth 1.6106 Australian Dollars.

About the Australian Dollar and the Euro
The Australian Dollar (AUD, symbol A$) is the currency of Australia. The Euro (EUR, symbol €) is the currency of the eurozone.
Like any pair, the rate reflects what traders will pay at that moment, not a fixed value. What you see is the market midpoint, updated once a day. A bank or bureau will quote something a little worse.
Worked AUD to EUR examples
A price tag. Something marked A$50 comes to 31.0434 EUR. Round to 31 EUR for a quick mental check while you are standing in the shop.
A monthly salary. A$3,000 a month is 1862.61 EUR — useful when you are comparing a job offer across the two markets. Bear in mind the rate moves, so a figure agreed today will not be the figure paid out in six months.
Going the other way. If you are holding €1,000 and want to know what it buys in Australian Dollars, that is 1610.65 AUD. The converter handles both directions — use the swap button between the two fields.
Watch the margin. At a bureau charging 3%, your A$500 would fetch roughly 301.12 EUR instead of 310.43 EUR. That gap is what the mid-market rate on this page lets you spot.
